Oostvoorne

Oostvoorne is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Westvoorne, and lies about 9 km (6 mi) north of Hellevoetsluis.

In 2001, the town of Oostvoorne had 5403 inhabitants, the built-up area of the town was 1.9 km (1 sq mi), and contained 2274 residences. The statistical area "Oostvoorne", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 7270.
