胃食管反流病（英文：Gastroesophageal reflux disease，缩写：GERD）亦作胃食道逆流、胃酸倒流，是指胃酸过多（有时加上十二指肠液）、不正常地向上反流进入食道甚至口腔，导致食道黏膜受损、发炎等，引起火烧心(灼热感)、反胃、胸骨后疼痛、慢性咳嗽等不适的一种慢性疾病。由于食物刺激、腹压增加(例如:肥胖)，而下食道括约肌无力，造成食道与胃之间的屏障出现暂时性或永久性减弱所致，而造成这种减弱的原因可能是食管下端括约肌（lower esophageal sphincter，LES）失灵或食管裂孔疝（hiatal hernia）等等。检查方式:以胃镜检查，了解造成原因，有无胃发炎或食道炎。 治疗药物目前以制酸剂为主，由医师嘱，依照发炎程度及症状来给药。

Occasional reflux causes heartburn, but chronic reflux leads to reflux esophagitis, GERD, and sometimes Barrett's esophagus.
