核膜

核膜（英语：nuclear membrane 或 karyotheca），又称核被膜或核封套（nuclear envelope）是包围真核细胞细胞核，分隔开细胞核和细胞质的生物膜。

核膜由两层磷脂双分子层构成，厚度共约20-100nm。其中两层磷脂双层膜分别称作内核膜和外核膜，其中的空隙称作核周隙（核周腔，perinuclear space），其与内质网空腔是共通的。

外核膜向细胞质的一侧有核糖体附着，同时也可见到外膜与内质网膜有相连接的部位，因而使核周隙（perinuclear space）与粗面内质网腔相沟通。由于核膜与内质网膜是连续的，核膜可通过与内质网的流动而得以生长，迅速扩大或收缩（详见流体镶嵌模型）。而这种内膜系统，磷脂双层膜的共有共通性正是将细胞核膜（或称核封套nuclear envelope）、内质网、高基氏体、溶体、液泡和细胞膜归类于内膜系统的原因。这些胞器的磷脂双层膜是可以较轻易共通的，且磷脂双层膜都是由内质网所制造的，而叶绿体与线粒体不被归类于内膜系统，即是因为膜来源不是来自内质网，且和其他的膜系统少有共有共通的现象。
