Nembe

Nembe is a Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Nembe in the east of the area at4°32′22″N 6°24′01″E / 4.53944°N 6.40028°E / 4.53944; 6.40028.

It has an area of 760 km² and a population of 130,931 at the 2006 census. The postal code of the area is 562. Much of the area of the LGA is occupied by the Edumanom National Forest.
