Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to be over the people he had left behind in Judah.

至于犹大国剩下的民，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒所剩下的，巴比伦王立了沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利作他们的省长。

" 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: " 'I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.

主耶和华如此说：" 我必藉巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手，除灭埃及众人。

Now I will give all your countries into the hands of my servant Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; I will make even the wild animals subject to him.

现在我将这些地都交给我仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手，我也将田野的走兽给他使用。

Within two years I will bring back to this place all the articles of the Lord's house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and took to Babylon.

二年之内，我要将巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒从这地掠到巴比伦的器皿，就是耶和华殿中的一切器皿都带回此地。

Therefore this is what the Lord says: I am about to give this city into the hands of the Babylonians and to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will capture it.

耶和华如此说：" 我必将这城交付迦勒底人的手和巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手，他必攻取这城。

" Israel is a scattered flock that lions have chased away. The first to devour them was the king of Assyria; the last to crush their bones was Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon" .

" 以色列是打散的羊，是被狮子赶出的。首先是亚述王将他吞灭；末后是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒将他的骨头折断。"

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to give Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will carry off its wealth. He will loot and plunder the land as pay for his army.

所以主耶和华如此说：我必将埃及地赐给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，他必掳掠埃及群众，抢其中的财为掳物，夺其中的货为掠物，这就可以作他军兵的酬劳。

So in the ninth year of Zedekiah's reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. They encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it.
