奈米黄金或奈米金（英语：nanogold），又称胶态金（colloidal gold），因为它在空气中容易聚集成为块材黄金，所以一般都把奈米黄金制备在溶液系统中。胶态金水溶液呈现悬浮溶液的特色，溶液中金颗粒大小约在次微米尺寸（小于1微米）。在溶液中，尺寸大小低于100奈米的胶态金粒子常致使溶液带有强烈的红色，而尺寸大小高于100奈米的胶态金粒子则使溶液呈蓝色或紫色。

由于金奈米粒子特殊的光学性质、电子性质、分子识别性质与良好的生物兼容性，使纳米黄金成为了最广泛被研究的金属奈米材料，目前已应用于各种不同领域，如电子显微镜学、电子学、材料科学、奈米科技、生化传感、光学侦测、药物投递、催化反应、疾病治疗、电子工程以及模板结晶等。

Colloidal gold is a sol or colloidal suspension of submicrometre-size nanoparticles of gold in a fluid, usually water. The liquid is usually either an intense red colour (for particles less than 100 nm) or blue/purple (for larger particles). Due to the unique optical, electronic, and molecular-recognition properties of gold nanoparticles, they are the subject of substantial research, with applications in a wide variety of areas, including electron microscopy, electronics, nanotechnology, and materials science.
