难陀王朝 Nanda Empire（重定向自Nandas）
   难陀王朝(Nanda Dynasty)是古印度摩揭陀王国的一个王朝。建于前424年﹐亡于前321年，其创建者为摩诃帕德摩·难陀（意译为大红莲难陀）。 难陀王朝成立后﹐摩诃帕德摩大力扩充军队﹐并将北印度恒河沿岸大部份地区纳入其治下。此外﹐他设立了税收制度﹐又兴建运河和其他水利工程。摩诃帕德摩死后﹐马其顿帝国亚历山大大帝攻入印度河平原。前321年﹐以旃陀罗笈多为首的起义军（即后来的孔雀王朝）击溃了马其顿军﹐并推翻了难陀王朝。

The Nanda dynasty (Sanskrit: Nanda Rājavaṃśa) originated from the region of Magadha in ancient India during the 4th century BCE and lasted between 345–321 BCE. At its greatest extent, the empire ruled by the Nanda Dynasty extended from Bengal in the east, to the Punjab region in the west and as far south as the Vindhya Range. The rulers of this dynasty were famed for the great wealth which they accumulated. The Nanda Empire was later conquered by Chandragupta Maurya, who founded the Maurya Empire. |
