The systematic name of this enzyme class is NADPH:hydrogen-peroxide oxidoreductase. Other names in common use include TPNH peroxidase, NADP peroxidase, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate peroxidase, TPN peroxidase, triphosphopyridine nucleotide peroxidase, and NADPH2 peroxidase.
