无性生殖 Asexual reproduction

无性生殖是指生物体不通过生殖细胞的结合，也就是不经由减数分裂来产生配子，直接由母体细胞分裂后产生出新个体的生殖方式。主要分为孢子繁殖、分裂生殖、出芽生殖、断裂生殖和营养器官繁殖等。这种生殖的速度通常都较有性生殖快很多。但是，行这种生殖方式的生物常常会因为其后代无法适应新环境而灭绝，这也是行无性生殖的缺点之一。
个别雌性脊椎动物在人工圈养或濒临灭绝的情况下也可能通过无性生殖的方式繁育下一代。
