罚金或罚款，是****、中华人民共和国、澳门、日本、大韩民国的财产刑处罚的一种，常用于较轻微的罪行或违法行为，例如交通、环境卫生和吸烟等。当一个人触犯法例，执法人员会向该人发告票，并登记个人数据，需要以指定方式缴交罚款。在新加坡，罚款及罚金是同义词，英文都作fine。香港的罚款能直接用作财产刑。

广义的罚款可以表示各种罚钱，但在法律术语，不同的汉字使用国家和地区对于不同性质的罚款有不同的称呼：
