    大都会歌剧院（英语：Metropolitan Opera House）是位于美国纽约的林肯中心内的世界知名的歌剧院，由「大都会歌剧院协会」（Metropolitan Opera Association）负责营运。大都会歌剧院协会于1880年4月成立，是纽约主要的歌剧公司，也是美国最大的古典音乐组织，每年上演约240部歌剧。大都会歌剧院是林肯中心的十二个常驻组织之一。

  The Metropolitan Opera, commonly referred to as "The Met", is a company based in New York City, resident at the Metropolitan Opera House at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The company is operated by the non-profit Metropolitan Opera Association, with Peter Gelb as general manager. The music director is James Levine. It was founded in 1880 as an alternative to the previously established Academy of Music opera house, and started performances in 1883 in a new building on 39th and Broadway (now the "Old Met"). |
