Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford
The Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS) is a research center at Stanford University (specifically, it is part of the Stanford School of Medicine) that aims to undertake "rigorous evaluation of research practices and find ways to optimize the reproducibility and efficiency of scientific investigations." It is headed by John Ioannidis and Steven Goodman. Its initial funding has been via a $6 million grant from the Laura and John Arnold Foundation.
