马斯塔巴（英语：Mastaba）是古埃及墓葬建筑的类型之一。马斯塔巴是平顶、长方形和外部呈斜坡面的建筑，很多古时期著名的埃及人都埋葬于这类型的墓室内。墓室是用泥砖或石头来建成。

要了解马斯塔巴和埃及墓地的结构，必先考虑到古埃及人的宗教信仰。最大的刺激作用是源于古埃及人相信来世。这反映在他们的建筑，最突出的是花费大量的时间，金钱和人力参与建设自己的坟墓。埃及人相信灵魂在尸体不腐烂和不受破坏的情况下才能长存。自前王朝时期初，古埃及人已经努力研发保存尸体的方法。 最初，以香油或药料等涂尸来防腐的方法被采用，其后陵墓的建筑设计使尸体得以无限期保存。尸体会被放置在位于深处的密封墓室内，例如马斯塔巴。由于，尸体接触不到干燥的沙，所以尸体无法变成木乃伊。为了保存尸体，古埃及祭司设计出一个人造木乃伊的方法。

A mastaba (/ˈmæstəbə/, /ˈmɑːstɑːbɑː/ or /mɑːˈstɑːbɑː/) or "pr-djt" (meaning "house for eternity" or "eternal house" in Ancient Egyptian), is a type of ancient Egyptian tomb in the form of a flat-roofed, rectangular structure with outward sloping sides, constructed out of mud-bricks (from the Nile River) or stone. These edifices marked the burial sites of many eminent Egyptians during Egypt's Early Dynastic Period and Old Kingdom. In the Old Kingdom epoch, kings began to be buried in pyramids instead of mastabas, although non-royal use of mastabas continued for more than a thousand years.
