Maronite Church 马龙尼礼教会
Maronite Church, officially Syriac Maronite Church of Antioch (Latin:Ecclesia Maronitarum; Syriac: Īṯo Suryoiṯo Morunoiṯo d'Anṭiokia; Arabic:الكنيسة الأنطاكية السريانية المارونية) al-Kanīsa al-Anṭākiyya al-Suryāniyya al-Mārūniyya) is a Eastern Catholic sui iuris particular church of the Catholic Church, with self-governance under the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches; and part of Syriac Churches by liturgy and heritage. It is headed by the Patriarch of Antioch, currently Bachara Boutros since 2011. Traditionally, Maronite Church located in the Region of the Levant with dominated presence in Mount Lebanon, where Bkerke – It’s headquarter located along with historical headquarters such as Kfar hay, Yanouh, Mayfouq, and Qadisha Valley. However, due to the massive emigration since the 19th century, nowadays approximately two-third of the church members are located outside ‘The Antiochian’s Range’ in Europe and the Americas, formulating the ‘Maronite Diaspora’.
