 林顿·约翰逊太空中心是美国国家航空航天局属下的一个机构，从1961年开始它负责协调管理美国的载人航天任务，它位于德克萨斯州休斯敦。 美国国家航空航天局的任务控制总部位于林顿·约翰逊太空中心。从1965年双子星4号以来所有美国国家航空航天局的载人航空任务全部是从这里指挥的。此前的水星任务是从位于弗吉尼亚州的兰利研究中心指挥的。 目前林顿·约翰逊太空中心负责控制航天飞机的飞行和国际空间站的状态。此外林顿·约翰逊太空中心还有美国宇航员训练中心，整个设施占地655公顷，有1.4万多名职员。

Johnson Space Center (JSC) is the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Manned Spacecraft Center, where human spaceflight training, research, and flight control are conducted. It was renamed in honor of the late U.S. president and Texas native, Lyndon B. Johnson, by an act of the United States Senate on February 19, 1973. |
