玉兰
玉兰（学名：Magnolia denudata），别名白玉兰（上海市市花）、望春花、玉兰花、木兰花，原产中国中部山野，现世界各地庭园常见栽培。中文中惯称含笑属的白兰（学名：Michelia x alba）为「玉兰花」，但实际上两者为不同种不同属的植物。

Magnolia denudata, known as the lilytree or Yulan magnolia (simplified Chinese:玉兰花; traditional Chinese:玉兰花; pinyin:yùlánhuā; literally: "jade orchid/lily"), is native to central and eastern China. It has been cultivated in Chinese Buddhist temple gardens since 600 AD. Its flowers were regarded as a symbol of purity in the Tang Dynasty and it was planted in the grounds of the Emperor's palace. It is the official city flower of Shanghai.
