鼠鲨目又称为鲭鲛目，此类鲨鱼有两个背鳍，鳍上都没有鳍棘，两颌前后方牙齿同形。海洋中大部分鲨鱼都属于鼠鲨目。鼠鲨目大约分为以下各科：

Lamniformes (from the Greek word, Lamna "fish of prey") is an order of sharks commonly known as mackerel sharks (which may also refer specifically to the family Lamnidae). It includes some of the most familiar species of sharks, such as the great white shark, as well as more unusual representatives, such as the goblin shark and the me****uth shark.
