长征系列运载火箭是中华人民共和国自行研制的航天运载工具，长征火箭从1965年开始研制，1970年“长征一号”运载火箭首次发射“东方红一号”卫星成功。目前，长征火箭有：长征一号、长征二号、长征三号和长征四号（含风暴一号）4个系列，退役、现役和在研型号共有13个，其中用于近地轨道发射的有6种，用于中间轨道发射的有4种，用于高轨道发射的有4种，基本覆盖了各种地球轨道的不同航天器的发射需要。其发射能力分别是：近地轨道 (LEO) 0.2-12吨，太阳同步轨道 (SSO) 0.4-5.7吨，地球同步轨道 (GSO) 1.5-5.5吨。

Development and design falls under the auspices of the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology. In English, the rockets are abbreviated as LM- for export and CZ- within China, as "Chang Zheng" means "Long March" in Chinese pinyin. The rockets are named after the Long March of Chinese communist history.
