对数凸函数或超凸函数为一种定义在实数矢量空间中凸集内，且其值为正数的函数f，若 ${\log}\circ f$ （函数f取对数后的数值）仍为凸函数，原函数即为对数凸函数。对数函数会大幅降低函数成长的速率，因此若取对数后仍为凸函数，表示函数上升的速度比凸函数还快，因此会称为超凸函数。

对数凸函数f 本身是凸函数，因为这是递增凸函数 $\exp$ 及 $\log\circ f$ （依定义是凸函数）的复合函数。但凸函数和对数的复合函数不一定都是凸函数。像 $g: x\mapsto x^2$ 是凸函数，但 ${\log}\circ g: x\mapsto \log x^2 = 2 \log |x|$ 不是凸函数，因此 $g$ 不是对数凸函数。另一方面， $x\mapsto e^{x^2}$ 是对数凸函数因为 $x\mapsto \log e^{x^2} = x^2$ 是凸函数。

像在正实数上的Γ函数就是对数凸函数（参见波尔-莫勒鲁普定理）。
