蛛形动物学（Arachnology）是指科学上研究蛛形纲动物的一门学门，包括了蜘蛛、蝎子、拟蝎、避日蛛等动物分类群的研究。然而，蛛形纲动物之中的蜱与螨等蜱螨亚纲的动物群并不常归类在蛛形动物学的研究范围之中，而另称蜱螨动物学（Acarology）。研究蛛形动物学的学者被称为蛛形动物学家（arachnologists）。

蛛形动物学的英文本Arachnology源自于古希腊字ἀράχνη（拉丁文：arachnē；意为蜘蛛）及-λογία（拉丁文：-logia，意为学问）。

Arachnology is the scientific study of spiders and related animals such as scorpions, pseudoscorpions, and harvestmen, collectively called arachnids. Those who study spiders and other arachnids are arachnologists.
