《悲惨世界》（法语：Les Misérables，英语发音：/leɪˌmɪzəˈrɑːb/，另有中文译名《孤星泪》，原意为“悲惨的人们”、“可怜的人们”），是法国作家维克多·雨果（Victor-Marie Hugo）于1862年所发表的一部长篇小说，是19世纪最著名的小说之一。小说描绘19世纪初20年间几个法国人物的生活背景，涵盖拿破仑战争和1832年巴黎共和党人起义等政治现象叙述。

Les Misérables (pronounced /leɪ ˌmɪzəˈrɑːb/ or /leɪ ˈmɪzəˌrɑːb/; French pronunciation: ​[le mizeʁabl(ə)]) is a French historical novel by Victor Hugo, first published in 1862, that is considered one of the greatest novels of the 19th century. In the English-speaking world, the novel is usually referred to by its original French title. However, several alternatives have been used, including The Miserables, The Wretched, The Miserable Ones, The Poor Ones, The Wretched Poor, The Victims and The Dispossessed. Beginning in 1815 and culminating in the 1832 June Rebellion in Paris, the novel follows the lives and interactions of several characters, particularly the struggles of ex-convict Jean Valjean and his experience of redemption.
