A US federal grand jury has returned the indictment that charges 28-year-old Brent Kristensen for the kidnapping of Zhang.

According to an affidavit previously filed with the court, the car allegedly driven by Kristensen had stopped next to her at an intersection in Champaign and then pulled away.
