柯枝市（亦译作“柯钦”，Kochi／旧称Cochin）是印度喀拉拉邦最大的城市和主要的港口。“柯枝”一名来自马拉雅拉姆语 "Kochazhi" 意指小湖泊，葡萄牙人取名“柯欣”（Cochin），1996年改回古名柯枝。

柯枝素有“阿拉伯海的王后”之称，位于喀拉拉邦的埃尔讷古勒姆县，在锡鲁万纳塔普拉姆城北约220公里。 昔日的柯枝市曾包括威灵东岛、柯枝堡、麻坦彻里等岛群。今日的柯枝包括埃尔讷古勒姆市、柯枝古城、贡巴兰吉和外围岛屿。柯枝市以其天然港闻名，曾经是几个世纪中印度香料贸易的中心。柯枝市现有一个海军基地和一个机场可通印度各大城市。威灵东岛是个大型人工岛，横跨岛上有一大型造船厂，生产印度海军使用的巡洋舰和航空母舰。

Kochi ([koˈtʃːi ]), also known as Cochin (KO-chin), is a major port city on the south-west coast of India by the Arabian Sea and is part of the district of Ernakulam in the state of Kerala. It is often called Ernakulam, which refers to the mainland part of the city. With a corporation limit population of 612,343, it is the second largest city in Kerala and with a metropolitan population of 2.1 million, it the largest urban agglomeration in the state. Kochi city is also a part of the Greater Cochin region and is classified as a Tier-II city by the Government of India. The civic body that governs the city is the Cochin Municipal Corporation, which was constituted in the year 1967, and the statutory bodies that oversee its development are the Greater Cochin Development Authority (***A) and the Goshree Islands Development Authority (GIDA).
