汤加，全名汤加王国（汤加语：Pule'anga Fakatu'i 'o Tonga；英语：The Kingdom of Tonga），一个位于太平洋西南部由172个大小不等的岛屿组成岛屿国家，西距斐济650公里，西南距新西兰1770公里，面积约有699平方公里，人口为11.69万人（2007），人口密度相当高。1845年，汤加王国由多个岛屿联合而成，在1875年实行君主立宪制至今，1900年开始成为英国的保护地，最后于1970年****独立，为联合国第188个成员国。

Tonga ([ˈtoŋa]; Tongan: Puleʻanga Fakatuʻi ʻo Tonga), officially the Kingdom of Tonga, is a Polynesian sovereign state and archipelago comprising 169 islands of which 36 are inhabited. The total surface area is about 750 square kilometres (290 sq mi) scattered over 700,000 square kilometres (270,000 sq mi) of the southern Pacific Ocean. It has a population 103,000 people of whom 70% reside on the main island of Tongatapu.
