夜猴属 Night monkey

夜猴属（学名：Aotus），也叫猫头鹰猴，为新世界猴中青猴科（Aotidae）的唯一一属，分为8种。它们主要分布在中美和南美的森林地区。它们几乎都在夜间活动，因此被称为夜猴。公猴和母猴的体重差别不大。
夜猴能发出许多种声音，这一点与其他大多数新世界猴不同。
夜猴以家庭为单位群居，为领地性动物。每年生产一只幼猴，主要由公猴负责照料。
