约翰·弗里德里希·威廉·赫歇尔爵士，第一代从男爵，FRS，KH（Sir John Frederick William Herschel, 1st Baronet ，1792年3月7日－1871年5月11日）出生于英国白金汉郡的斯劳，著名天文学家、数学家、化学家及摄影师，天文学家威廉·赫歇尔的儿子。

约翰·赫歇尔首创以儒略纪日法来纪录天象日期，他亦在摄影的发展方面作出过重大贡献。他发现硫代硫酸钠能作为溴化银的定影剂。又创造了"photography"（摄影）、"negative"（负片）及"positive"（正片）等名词。古典摄影工艺蓝晒法（Cyanotype）是另一项重要发明。

Sir John Frederick William Herschel, 1st Baronet KHFRS (7 March 1792 – 11 May 1871) was an English polymath, mathematician, astronomer, chemist, inventor, and experimental photographer, who also did valuable botanical work. He was the son of Mary Baldwin and astronomer William Herschel, nephew of astronomer Caroline Herschel and the father of twelve children.
