Jagdispur

Jagdispur (Commonly spelled: Jagdishpur, Hindi:जगदीशपुर) is a subdivision of the district Bhojpur of the state of Bihar in eastern India. Having a golden historical background, this great historical place is related to the Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, the great freedom fighter of 1857. The sub-division occupies an area of 2,474 km (955 sq mi) and has a population of 212541 (as of 2001).
