As Scripture says, " Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame" . [ Isaiah 28: 16 (see Septuagint) ]

经上说：" 凡信他的人，必不至于羞愧。"

As it is written: " God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you" . [ Isaiah 52:5 (see Septuagint); Ezek. 36:20,22 ]

For, " In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay" . [ Isaiah 26: 20; Hab. 2: 3 ]

" 因为还有一点点时候，那要来的就来，并不迟延。

For it is written: " I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate" . [ Isaiah 29: 14 ]

In the Old Testament of the Bible we find the following from the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 14, verses 12-14: How you are fallen from heaven, o day star, son of dawn!

And again, " I will put my trust in him" . [ Isaiah 8: 17 ] And again he says, " Here am I, and the children God has given me" . [ Isaiah 8: 18 ]

For in Scripture it says: " See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame" . [ Isaiah 28: 16 ]

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: " Death has been swallowed up in victory" . [ Isaiah 25: 8 ]

这必朽坏的既变成不朽坏的，这必死的既变成不死的，那时经上所记" 死被得胜吞灭" 的话就应验了。

If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus with no more than human hopes, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, " Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die" . [ Isaiah 22: 13 ]

我若当日像寻常人在以弗所同野兽战斗，那于我有什么益处呢？若死人不复活，我们就吃吃喝喝吧！因为明天要死了。
