电解水机（Water-Ionizer）是依据「电化学」与「电解」原理，采用钛白金(铂)素材或其它合金材质，做为电解槽之电极板，其间配置陶瓷离子分离膜的透析与分离作用。依操作使用功能需要,电解槽使用「钛白金电极板」的片数(或换算成电极板总面积）,已经发展有「3极2槽」、「5极4槽」、「7极6槽」甚至「9极8槽」的设计使用。

电解水机电解槽之构造与材质，甚至应用于管路水道自来水源之电解模式，都有别于传统之电池与电解水操作实验(制备氢气及氧气)。依电解水质之「机能性」需求,一般分为「饮用碱性离子水」、「外用或环保杀菌用酸性离子水」以及「特别成份的离子水」。电解水机之功率输出.操作皮肤及特殊设计都有相当成熟的技术产品推陈出新。
