交互电子白板，是一种透过电脑周边界面来连接投影机和电脑的输入输出设备，部份可以显示投影器投影的影像。通常由台式计算机、触摸式白板、投影仪、音响、话筒等电子设备组成。

交互电子白板在本质上为绝对座标的电脑输入设备，如同一部大尺寸的数字绘图板，可将用户于白板表面所书写的笔迹的座标值及点击状态持续地发送到电脑，交互电子白板由于只是座标输入设备，所以需要连接到一台电脑，并透过电脑所连接的投影机，把电脑屏幕的画面再投射回到白板上，当投影机投射画面回白板时，一般须先经过校准的进程，才能将用户的笔迹与电子白板的书写点作准确地重合，以便让用户有一种直接用笔写在电子白板表面的效果。 电脑及白板间的连接，可以是有线的（如：USB插线或串流端口）或无线的（如：蓝牙）。

An interactive whiteboard (IWB) is a large interactive display that connects to a computer. A projector projects the computer's desktop onto the board's surface where users control the computer using a pen, finger, stylus, or other device. The board is typically mounted to a wall or floor stand.
