下丘脑

下视丘（英语：Hypothalamus），是调节内脏活动和内分泌活动的较高级神经中枢所在，又称丘脑下部。位于丘脑的下方（希腊文 ὑποθαλαμος = under the thalamus），脑干的上方，控制身体多项功能。其区域包括间脑腹侧的大部分区域，通过脑下垂体连接神经系统和内分泌系统。在人体中，它和杏核的大小相当。

通常将下视丘从前向后分为三个区：视上部位于视交叉上方，由视前核和室旁核所组成；结节部位于漏斗的后方；乳头部位于乳头体。
