次甘氨酸A
次甘氨酸A（Hypoglycin-A）是一种存在于无患子科植物中的非蛋白氨基酸。大剂量摄入将引起牙买加呕吐病。
未成熟的阿开木果实整体含有大量的次甘氨酸A及其二肽衍生物次甘氨酸B，因此具有毒性。只有当还在树上的水果被允许完全打开，和露出大片黑色的种子的时候，水果是才可以安全食用。成熟后的阿开木果实中次甘氨酸A含量从1000ppm大幅降至仅0.1ppm。
