胚轴
在植物学里，胚轴是幼苗的一个部分。以子叶作为分界，其上称为上胚轴（英语：epicotyl），其下称为下胚轴（英语：hypocotyl）。植物胚胎在发芽的过程中会生长出胚根，向下生长至土壤之中。在胚根发育之后，在胚根之上的胚轴是初始支撑子叶的构造，后续会发育成茎。
在一些植物里，胚轴可作为储藏养分的器官，例如仙客来和大岩桐。
