西大西洋笛鲷 Northern red snapper

西大西洋笛鲷，为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目鲈亚目笛鲷科的其中一种，分布于西大西洋区，从美国麻州至墨西哥湾海域，栖息深度10-190公尺，体长可达100公分，成鱼栖息在岩石底质的海域，幼鱼栖息在沙泥底质浅海域，属肉食性，以鱼类、甲壳类、头足类、蠕虫等为食，可做为食用鱼，适合各种烹饪方式食用。
