印度国定历（India national calendar）是印度政府为统一在印度各地的五花八门历法，于1957年制定的印度官方统一历法。是一种太阳历，每年日子数目和格里历一致，闰年设置也和格里历一致，但月份设置以黄道十二宫为准，一年设六个季节，每个季节有两个月，季度设置先后为春季、夏季、季风季、秋季、冬季、露季。平年以格里历的3月22日为一年开始，闰年以3月21日开始。纪年以公元78年为印度历元年（即使用塞种纪元）。所以2004年3月21日以后为印度历1926年。

The Hindu calendars have undergone many changes in the process of regionalisation. Some of the more prominent regional Hindu calendars include the Nepali calendar, Punjabi calendar, Bengali calendar, Odiya calendar, Malayalam calendar, Kannada panchanga, Tulu calendar, Tamil calendar, Vikrama Samvat used in Northern India, and Shalivahana calendar in the Deccan States of Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. The common feature of many regional Hindu calendars is that the names of the twelve months are the same (because the names are based in Sanskrit). The month which starts the year also varies from region to region.
