西奥多·赫茨尔（英语：Theodor Herzl，匈牙利语：Herzl Tivadar，希伯来语：בנימין זאב הרצל‎、Benyamin Ze'ev Herzl，1860年5月2日－1904年7月3日）是奥匈帝国的一名犹太裔记者和现代政治的锡安主义创建人，也是现代以色列的国父。

西奥多·赫茨尔出生于布达佩斯，童年时候移居维也纳。学习过法律并取得了奥地利的法律执照，但后来主要从事新闻学和文学职业，担任维也纳《新自由日报》的主编。早年主要是为报纸写杂文花絮，和犹太人无关，后来又兼写作戏剧。

Theodor Herzl (Hebrew: תאודור הֶרְצֵל, Theodor Hertzel; Hungarian:Herzl Tivadar; May 2, 1860 – July 3, 1904), born Benjamin Ze'ev Herzl (Hebrew: בִּנְיָמִין זְאֵב הֶרְצֵל), also known in Hebrew as חוֹזֵה הַמְדִינָה, Chozeh HaMedinah (lit. "Visionary of the State") was an Austro-Hungarian journalist, playwright, political activist, and writer. He was one of the fathers of modern political Zionism. Herzl formed the World Zionist Organization and promoted Jewish migration to Palestine in an effort to form a Jewish state (Israel).
