希吉拉 Hegira

希吉拉（阿拉伯语：هجرة），旧译徙志，又译作希吉来、黑嗤拉，原意为“出走”、“离开”。后来变为622年伊斯兰先知穆罕默德带领信众离开麦加，迁移到叶斯里卜（麦地那）这个事件的简称。由于这是伊斯兰历史上非常重要的事件，以622年作为伊斯兰教历的元年，所以伊斯兰教历又被称为“希吉拉历”或“希吉来历”。

The Hegira or Hijrah (Arabic:هِجْرَة), also romanized as Hijra and Hejira, is the migration or journey of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and his followers from Mecca to Yathrib, later renamed by him to Medina, in 622 CE. In June 622 CE, after being warned of a plot to assassinate him, Muhammad secretly left his home in Mecca to emigrate to Yathrib, 320 km (200 mi) north of Mecca, along with his companion Abu Bakr. Yathrib was soon renamed Madīnat an-Nabī, literally "the City of the Prophet", but an-Nabī was soon dropped, so its name is "Medina", meaning "the city".
