Haiphong




Haiphong (Vietnamese:Hải Phòng, listen) is the third largest city of Vietnam beside Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with population of over 2 million people. The city's name means "coastal defense" and it is nicknamed the Flamboyant City because of the many flame trees planted throughout it. Hai phong is northern Vietnam's most important seaport and has many industrial parks invested by multinational corporations.
