古斯塔夫·福楼拜（法语：Gustave Flaubert，1821年12月12日－1880年5月8日），生于法国鲁昂，法国文学家，世界文学名著《包法利夫人》的作者。

福楼拜出生于法国西北部诺曼第地区的鲁昂，父亲是当地市立医院的院长，颇有名望，深受当地居民的爱戴。

小时候的福楼拜常和妹妹一起爬到窗帘上偷看停放在医院里的尸体，使得幼年的福楼拜对许多事都看得很淡。

中学期间他认识了美丽的少妇爱丽莎，这份近乎离谱的暗恋注定单相思，福楼拜这份情感转移至他的小说《情感教育》。

后来他认识了女作家路易丝·柯蕾，两人很有默契的维持着男女关系，1852年12月给路易丝·柯蕾的信中提到：“作者在其作品中，应该犹如宇宙间的上帝，他无所不在，但又无迹可寻。”

Gustave Flaubert (French: [ɡystav flobɛʁ]; 12 December 1821 – 8 May 1880) was an influential French novelist who was perhaps the leading exponent of literary realism in his country. He is known especially for his first published novel, Madame Bovary (1857), for his Correspondence, and for his scrupulous devotion to his style and aesthetics. The celebrated short story writer Guy de Maupassant was a protégé of Flaubert.
