绿地模式（Greenfield，又译为绿灯区模式）是用于无线网络IEEE802.11n通信协定中的一种提高传输速率的模式。它拥有最大的速度传输，最广的传输范围。以发挥IEEE802.11n的最大潜能。

绿灯区模式在使用时会忽略掉早期的一些标准，它名称的意义也在于是全速通行的「绿灯」，而没有「黄灯」（指的是速度较慢的早期通信协定标准IEEE 802.11a与IEEE 802.11g）、「红灯」（指的是IEEE 802.11b）。如果某个无线网络采用此种标准，则使用IEEE 802.11a、IEEE 802.11b与IEEE 802.11g的用户就无法使用该网络。但是支持IEEE802.11n的用户则可以享受最快的传输速度。

In many disciplines a greenfield project is one that lacks constraints imposed by prior work. The analogy is to that of construction on greenfield land where there is no need to work within the constraints of existing buildings or infrastructure.
