大学校（法语：grande école 法语发音：[ɡʁɑ̃d.z‿ekɔl]），中文有时也译为“专业学院”，是法国对通过入学考试（concours）来录取学生的高等院校的总称，用来区别于公立大学（université，持有高中会考毕业证书的学生都可以申请进入本科阶段学习），中文有时也译为高等专业学院。通常入学考试针对大学校预科班毕业生（bac+2）, 考试录取率相对较低。被录取的考生在大学校里学习3到4年。

法国的大学校一词出现于1794年法国大革命期间，现在也是法国教育不同于全球教育发展的一种表现。相对于综合性大学而言，其专业性更强，更重视教学与实践的结合，以培养社会各界人才而出名。在法国就业市场上得到了较高认可，被称为法国的大学校教育。大学校按领域可分为以下几类：工程师学院（École d'ingénieurs）、高等商学院（École de commerce）、高等师范学院（École normale）及其它领域的高等学院。巴黎高等师范学院、巴黎综合理工学院、国立巴黎高等矿业学校、巴黎中央理工学院、国立巴黎高等化学学院、国立桥路学校、高等电力学院、巴黎高等商学院、埃塞克商学院、欧洲高等商学院等就是这类学院中的皎皎者。

The Grandes É***** (French pronunciation: ​[ɡʁɑ̃d.z‿ekɔl], literally in French "Grand Schools", meaning "Elite Schools") of France are higher education establishments outside the main framework of the French university system. Most were established by branches of the state; the oldest, École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées, in 1741. The Grandes É***** select students for admission based chiefly on national ranking in competitive written and oral exams, while French public universities have a legal obligation to accept all candidates of the region who hold a corresponding baccalauréat.
