Gökhan
Gökhan (pronounced [ˈɟøkhan]) is a Turkish forename meaning "ruler of the sky" related to Tengrism. The stem of the name comes from the "Gök"[ɟøk, goek] and the "(K)Han" [kahn, kan ; Han] words. Gök means sky or heaven in Turkish and Khan is (in the Altaic group of languages) a title held by hereditary rulers or tribal chiefs.
