Ghiroda

Ghiroda (German:Giroda; Hungarian:Győröd) is a commune in Timiș County, western Romania.

It is located near Timișoara, to the east. As a result of the development of the city, the commune shows characteristics of being a neighborhood of Timișoara.

The commune is composed of two villages, Ghiroda and Giarmata-Vii (Überland; Kisgyarmatapuszta).
