Garsington


Garsington is a village and civil parish about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Oxford in Oxfordshire. The 2011 Census recorded the parish's population as 1,689. The village is best known for its flamboyant social life at Garsington Manor while occupied from 1914 to 1928 by Philip and Ottoline Morrell and the Garsington Opera staged there from 1989 until 2010.
