石榴石（英语：Garnet），是一组在青铜时代已经使用为宝石及研磨料（Abrasive）的矿物。常见的石榴石为红色，但其颜色的种类十分广阔，足以涵盖整个光谱的颜色。英文来自拉丁文"granatus"（"grain"，即粮食、谷物），可能由"Punica granatum"（"pomegranate"，即石榴）而来，它是一种有红色种子的植物，其形状、大小及颜色都与部分石榴石结晶类似。

常见的石榴石因应其化学成分而确认为数种种类，分别为红榴石（Pyrope）、铁铝榴石（Almandine）、锰铝榴石（Spessartite）、钙铁榴石（Andradite）、钙锰铝榴石（Spessartine）、钙铝榴石（Grossular，变种有沙弗来石（tsavorite）及肉桂石（hessonite））及钙铬榴石（Uvarovite）。

Garnets /ˈɡɑːrnət/ are a group of silicate minerals that have been used since the Bronze Age as gemstones and abrasives.

All species of garnets possess similar physical properties and crystal forms, but differ in chemical composition. The different species are pyrope, almandine, spessartine, grossular (varieties of which are hessonite or cinnamon-stone and tsavorite), uvarovite and andradite. The garnets make up two solid solution series: pyrope-almandine-spessartine and uvarovite-grossular-andradite.
