甘露（梵文：अमृत，IAST: amṛta，音译阿密哩多，意为永生）是印度神话中出现的长生不老药。

传说中提婆与阿修罗搅乳海求甘露。仙人战胜阿修罗后独占仙露。但是阿修罗之一的罗睺却变成天神的模样，混在其中喝了一口甘露，被日神和月神发现了，告诉给毗湿奴。仙露尚未经过罗睺的喉咙，他的头便被毗湿奴的化身摩酰尼砍下。但是罗睺的头因仙露而长生不老。为了报仇，他吞食日神和月神，造成日蚀和月蚀；当日月在他敞开的喉头走出，蚀便完结。

无量寿佛梵音与「阿弥唎都」相近，且寿命无量，因此又有甘露王的称号 。

Amrita (Sanskrit, IAST: amṛta) or Amata (Pali) is a word that literally means "immortality" and is often referred to in texts as nectar. Amṛta is etymologically related to the Greek ambrosia and carries the same meaning. The word's earliest occurrence is in the Rigveda, where it is one of several synonyms for soma, the drink which confers immortality upon the gods.
