富士山（日语： 富士山／ふじさん  ）是日本一座横跨静冈县和山梨县的活火山，位于东京西南方约80公里处，主峰海拔3776米，2002年8月（平成14年），经日本国土地理院重新测量后，为3775.63公尺，是日本国内的最高峰。富士山顶于冬季积雪，直至隔年六、七月才会溶化，在管理上属于本州地区的富士箱根伊豆国立公园范围内。富士山不但名列日本百名山，同时也是日本三名山之一，其名称由来源自于竹取物语。闻名全球的富士山是日本重要的象征之一，被视为圣山，其在古代文献中亦被称为不二、不尽或是富慈，也经常被称作芙蓉峰或富岳。自古以来，这座山的名字就经常在日本的传统诗歌“和歌”中出现。

Mount Fuji(富士山,Fujisan, IPA: [ɸɯᵝꜜdʑisaɴ]), located on Honshu Island, is the highest mountain peak in Japan at 3,776.24 m (12,389 ft). An active stratovolcano that last erupted in 1707–08, Mount Fuji lies about 100 kilometres (60 mi) south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is snow-capped several months a year, is a well-known symbol of Japan and it is frequently depicted in art and photographs, as well as visited by sightseers and climbers.
