法国外籍兵团

外籍兵团（法语：Légion Étrangère），为法国的正规部队。自1831年，路易-菲利普一世批准创建至今。外籍兵团曾参与法国大小战事，拥有相当重要的功绩。军团成员以招募外籍人士为主，但法国公民仍可以（文书上的）外国人身分加入。外籍人士在服务满五年以后可以申请法国国籍，在确认受到足够同化后便可取得国籍。不愿意放弃原有国籍者，在契约结束后也可以得到法国居留权。
