离子交换树脂（Ion-exchange Resin），又名离子交换高分子化合物（Ion-exchange Polymer），是一种利用了固定的高分子化合物来达成离子交换的物质。虽然IUPAC强烈建议不要使用「离子交换树脂」这个名字去替代「离子交换高分子化合物」，但市面上的商品仍然普遍采用这名字。

离子交换树脂一般采用螯合树脂来达成，但亦有其他类型的高分子化合物。它普遍用于物质的分离、净化及除污染等过程，常见于食水的软化及净化。例如：美国国家健康管理局（NSF）指定的食水软化技术技术（NSF/ANSI 44），就是采用离子交换树脂来达成。这比采用天然或人工合成的沸石来滤水更有弹性。

An ion-exchange resin or ion-exchange polymer is an insoluble matrix (or support structure) normally in the form of small (0.5-1 mm diameter) beads, usually white or yellowish, fabricated from an organic polymer substrate. The beads are typically porous, providing a high surface area. The trapping of ions occurs with the accompanying releasing of other ions; thus the process is called ion-exchange. There are multiple types of ion-exchange resin. Most commercial resins are made of polystyrene sulfonate.
