欧元区（Eurozone；官方称euro area）为28个欧洲联盟成员国中的19个国家组成的货币同盟。这些国家采用欧元（€）为其通用货币和唯一法偿。其他九个欧盟成员国使用自己的货币。

欧元区国家包括奥地利、比利时、塞浦路斯、爱沙尼亚、芬兰、法国、德国、希腊、爱尔兰、意大利、拉托维亚、立陶宛、卢森堡、马耳他、荷兰、葡萄牙、斯洛伐克、斯洛文尼亚和西班牙。其他欧洲国家（除丹麦和英国）在达到标准后也必须加入欧元区。至今无国家退出，且亦无退出或开除机制。安道尔、摩纳哥、圣马力诺和梵蒂冈同欧盟的正式协定允许这些国家使用欧元作为官方货币并自行发行硬币。科索沃和黑山两国单方面采用欧元，但并非为欧元区正式成员，在欧洲中央银行和欧元集团中无代表权。

The eurozone ( pronunciation ), officially called the euro area, is a monetary union of 19 of the 28 European Union (EU) member states which have adopted the euro (€) as their common currency and sole legal tender. The other nine members of the European Union continue to use their own national currencies, although most of them are obliged to adopt the euro in future.
